Another Fucking Design Student

I left my job as a full time Graphic Designer, to develop and explore areas of work that better reflect my abilities and passion for creation.

I am now one of the thousands and thousands of design students in the UK all facing the challenge of getting noticed in a jam packed industry.

I believe in an equal balance of concept and execution in order to produce work that has worth. Blurring the divide between computer software generated design and traditional hand made processes to create something which can be seen to have depth and layers of process.

This blog will showcase work I produce as part of my degree, self initiated projects and behind the scenes of some of my processes. Basically like all the other fucking design student blogs out there. :)

The awesome Scott Trakker (adopted son of Matt Trakker leader of M.A.S.K back in 1985) produced this ‘trakk’ called Fluxing for my forthcoming show reel, which will have a distinct 80’s feel to the beginning and end. 

Try and work out where the samples are from, it’s not too hard really.

Also thought I’d mention one of my films is complete, another is 80% and another is 10%. So much to do right now, I’m feeling the pressure.

Oh!!! And I’ve been nominated for my entry to D&AD, which means I stand a chance of getting 1st, 2nd or 3rd place. To check out my submission on the D&AD site click here. I’ll let you know how I get on.
