Another Fucking Design Student

I left my job as a full time Graphic Designer, to develop and explore areas of work that better reflect my abilities and passion for creation.

I am now one of the thousands and thousands of design students in the UK all facing the challenge of getting noticed in a jam packed industry.

I believe in an equal balance of concept and execution in order to produce work that has worth. Blurring the divide between computer software generated design and traditional hand made processes to create something which can be seen to have depth and layers of process.

This blog will showcase work I produce as part of my degree, self initiated projects and behind the scenes of some of my processes. Basically like all the other fucking design student blogs out there. :)

This is my response to the letter P in my A-Z of Graphic Language. I was inspired by stereotypical bedroom posters such as fast cars and classic pin ups.

The equation of Paper + Print = Poster, is missing one factor; Design. It is a kind of joke about how when I am asked to produce a poster for someone they want it printed as soon as possible, completely forgetting about the design process.
