This work was inspired by a quote taken from a Kyle Cooper talk at D&AD. When I herd those words, they resonated with me and is now part of my methodology when generating concepts and executing ideas.

With this piece I set up the shot with a large glass jar filled with water and back lit it. That was me setting up the condition in which to experiment. I then went on to experiment with dropping pink food colouring into the water, the camera I have isn’t great for this type of thing, but I went with it. I wanted to use Letraset for the quote, but I had run out of P’s so had to take a different approach.

I also experimented with dropping other things into the water, but due to my camera not being able to shoot sharp high speed shots the results were not that great, I intend to hook up with a photographer who specialises in high speed photography to push this concept of experimentation further.
