I created this woodblock typeface by cutting each one with a mallet and chisel. I designed the typeface on the computer, but wasn’t content with leaving it there.

After having an induction to woodblock printing, I was inspired to render this type out of wood and hand print it using traditional methods. I found this process so much more satifying then depending on the computer for the whole process.

I intend to further explore this by combining both traditional techniques and computer software for other projects.

This typeface is used throughout my A-Z Of Graphic Language for titles.
